Let Us Eat Lettuce: DIY Gardening on the Cheap!

I have to confess that the little time I have had today to think about Let Us Eat Lettuce has been spent configuring a new toy for this mother/gardener/professor.  I am a late adopter (low budget  plus, in this sense, conservative–do I really need this, I ask myself, for years) and tend to be light-years behind the students at the IT  (as a history  prof it is my duty to demonstrate to them ancient technologies like cassette and VHS tapes, even *microfilm*, from time to time!).  However, I  finally decided that to get something publishable done in my multiple roles, I’d need to combine picture taking (and–new step–video), writing, illustrating, and archiving onto one device.  So, today I have successfully connected a tablet device to a keyboard AND downloaded an app. Feeling like a technology goddess.  Expect some graphics to liven up this page soon.
